Our approach
We design with semantic HTML, meaningful headings, keyboard access, visible focus states, labelled controls, alternative text and responsive layouts. Core page content remains available when JavaScript is disabled.
Visual presentation
Text and controls are designed for contrast against their backgrounds. Layouts reflow on smaller screens and avoid requiring horizontal page scrolling. Motion is reduced when the operating system preference prefers-reduced-motion is enabled.
Navigation and interaction
A skip link leads directly to the main content. The mobile menu and cookie controls expose labels and state to assistive technologies. Cookie preferences can also be reopened from the footer.
Known limitations
Illustrative architecture photographs can contain complex visual detail that is difficult to describe completely. Alternative text communicates the image's editorial purpose rather than every visible object. Email links rely on the visitor's configured mail application.
